f11 Photography Magazine | September 2018
1st September 2018
Welcome onboard the September 2018 issue of the f11 Photography Magazine. This month we’ve a bumper edition with two Behind the Lens features from my photographic travels in Portugal and Galica, with accompanying video blog and two related post-production videos. My How it’s Done article responds to an f11 Member’s request to determine what the term acceptably sharp actually means, and how we can achieve it. Meanwhile Ben Pipe reports from China, and I turn the Spotlight on Wales f11 Member Dylan Arnold. Our Guest Interview features the landscapes of Karl Holtby.
But pride of place this month must go to your images, because we’re proud here and now to announce the winners of the f11 Members Your Vision 2018 Competition. Thanks to all of you who entered. The standard this year was incredibly high, as you can see. We’ll be featuring more of your Highly Commended images next month.
And finally, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again; please do not be reticent in getting in touch. We love to hear from you and can garantee we will act on all reasonable suggestions for what you’d like to see in future editions. And if you’re continuing to enjoy the fruits of your f11 membership do spread the word.
