New England, October 1995
David Noton recalls a trip from the film era to shoot the spectacular fall colours of New England.
The travel was incessant back then. Late in September 1995 I returned from Greece, had a brief weekend at home then flew to Boston, picked up a rental car and headed north into New Hampshire. By late October the leaves had fallen, and I was back shooting the skyline in Boston before flying down to Atlanta to photograph the city that would be hosting the Olympics the following summer. By late November I was in northern Thailand, and by Christmas in a gasthaus with Wendy in the Bavarian Alps.
