The Bagatelle brand began in the meat-packing district of Manhattan, New York. Proprietors Aymeric Clemente and Remi Laba, who hail from France, teamed up in early 2008 to create a restaurant that encompasses the French Mediterranean lifestyle both in terms of atmosphere and cuisine.
The Monte Carlo Bagatelle is the ninth such restaurant, and I was hired recently to photograph the sumptuous interiors. My client was both the restaurant and interior designer who decorated it – the final pictures would be used by both for their own promotions.
