Galicia

David Noton continues his Iberian photographic adventure by venturing into Galicia.

May 16, 2018

Over the border at Feces de Abaixo (I’m not sure I’d want that address!), and into Galicia. After the dawn shoot back in Portugal the length of the days this time of year are catching up on me as I pull in to the campsite at Allariz. The site is pleasingly situated by the river, but crawling with screaming schoolchildren; drive on. I head up into the mountains on twisty roads searching for an alternative site; it’s closed. Dispirited and less then enamoured with my initial impressions of the area I reach for my phone to book a nearby B&B just for the night; I’ll head on for the coast tomorrow.
