Shooting the Canon Job: Part 2
March 15: As the boat speeds over the turquoise waters of Lago Argentino, the mountains that have been dominating the western skyline since I arrived loom larger. I’m heading for Parque Nacional Los Glaciares in the company of Rubens, the boatman and Jose, my minder to check out two possible locations, one of which we’ll use for tomorrow’s glacier shoot. It’s a perfect day: the light is sparkling off the water and the air is cool and crisp. On the 90-minute trip in I’m on the rear deck, revelling in the surroundings whilst mulling over the brief.
