David and Wendy continue their road trip through the stunning landscapes of Argentina, and discover that when you don't succeed at first, it pays to try again.
It’s dusk and I’m kicking my heels by my tripod in Plaza 9 de Julio, waiting for it to get dark. All of Salta is out and about: promenading families, young lovers, boisterous teenagers. As usual my tripod is a magnet for juvenile larking, but the atmosphere is convivial and welcoming. A couple of patrolling Policia nod politely as they pass by.
