Capturing the Spirit of China

Ever since watching the movie Enter the Dragon and the documentary series Wild China, I had wanted to visit China. This lifelong dream became a reality when I embarked on this oriental adventure last September.

Long distance trips usually have to be booked months in advance to fit around work and family commitments. Whether you are professional, amateur, enthusiast or complete beginner, one thing we are all short of at a destination is time. Some of us may have the luxury of a few weeks to photograph a location (as I did) whilst others may only have days. Either way, you can only try your best to capture its potential when there with the time you have.
