0730: Ross Graham Lookout, Kalbarri National Park. From the top of the gorge, we watch a kangaroo swimming across the river effortlessly then hopping away from the opposite bank. Their bouncing seems such a speedy and efficient method of getting about, why hasn’t it evolved on other continents? The sight is uplifting, and a good way for a productive shoot to come to an end. This morning has been the best so far here in Kalbarri, which is a distinct relief; I had been starting to give myself a hard time. I’m good at that, at least.
